About

Transforming Compact Spaces Into Livable Homes

Michelle’s passion for compact living design emerged during her early career at a boutique Hong Kong design firm, where she discovered the unique challenges and creative opportunities presented by micro-apartments in densely populated urban areas. She’s spent 14 years helping residents maximize functionality in spaces as small as 150 square feet, with over 280 successful micro-flat redesigns across Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.

What drives Michelle is the direct feedback from clients—seeing how thoughtful spatial planning genuinely improves their daily lives. She believes that living small doesn’t mean living poorly. This philosophy underpins every course module and design consultation she delivers. Her innovative approaches to spatial planning and storage solutions have been featured in local design publications and earned recognition from the Hong Kong Interior Design Association.

What Michelle Specializes In

Interior Design Courses

Michelle’s courses aren’t theoretical. They’re built on 14 years of real design work in Hong Kong’s toughest residential markets. Students learn practical techniques—not just design principles. Her modules cover furniture selection, spatial planning, storage innovation, lighting design, and color psychology specific to small spaces. Each course includes case studies from her own projects, so you’re learning from solutions that actually worked in Kowloon micro-flats.

Small Space Optimization for Kowloon Micro-Flats

Kowloon’s compact apartments present unique challenges—limited ceiling height, irregular layouts, and density that demands creative solutions. Michelle’s approach focuses on maximizing functionality without sacrificing comfort or aesthetics. She’s redesigned over 280 micro-flats ranging from 150 to 400 square feet, developing signature strategies for vertical storage, multipurpose furniture, zone division without walls, and visual expansion through color and lighting.
