Transforming Compact Spaces Into Livable Homes
Michelle’s passion for compact living design emerged during her early career at a boutique Hong Kong design firm, where she discovered the unique challenges and creative opportunities presented by micro-apartments in densely populated urban areas. She’s spent 14 years helping residents maximize functionality in spaces as small as 150 square feet, with over 280 successful micro-flat redesigns across Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.
What drives Michelle is the direct feedback from clients—seeing how thoughtful spatial planning genuinely improves their daily lives. She believes that living small doesn’t mean living poorly. This philosophy underpins every course module and design consultation she delivers. Her innovative approaches to spatial planning and storage solutions have been featured in local design publications and earned recognition from the Hong Kong Interior Design Association.
